4-Week Fundamentals

Bondage Fundamentals is an four-session introductory course designed for those new to rope bondage, providing foundational skills, terminology, and safety practices. The course focuses on floor-based rope work, influenced primarily by Japanese bondage (shibari/kinbaku), while integrating techniques from various traditions. Participants will learn essential ties, structural elements, and the principles of Risk-Aware Consensual Kink (RACK) to foster safer practice. Emphasis on communication, consent, pleasure, and injury prevention, including awareness of possible bodily and emotional trauma. By the end of the course, students will have the confidence to continue their bondage education independently or in advanced non-suspension classes.
